The Fnac Darty durability score is a unique initiative in the retail world. It has become a benchmark index, establishing a correlation between the average age of repaired products and their durability score. To do so, it takes into account two criteria: reliability (e.g. breakdown rate) and repairability (e.g. availability of spare parts, repair cost…). It thus stands as the most relevant source for assessing the repairability and durability of appliances. In 2025, the durability score revealed that product families with a higher durability score had an average age of 7 years and 3 months at the time of repair, compared to 3 years and 9 months for the least durable. Find the best products on our After-Sales Barometer (FR only).
-
The Fnac Darty After-Sales Barometer has become an essential information and benchmarking tool. It allows the general public, before making a purchase, to find out about the repairability and reliability of products from over 150 brands, summarised by a durability score. All information about the after-sales barometer can be found on our page dedicated to informed consumption.
